Silver needle is one of the rarest and most sought after teas and should be enjoyed as you would a fine wine. Only the top shoots are selected and picked between March and April, but only when the sun is shining so any moisture from the shoots is removed. They are then left to wilt in the sunshine.
The light processing gives silver needle an elegant and delicate smooth taste that is lightly sweet.
We would recommend 70 degrees celsius water and steep for 3-4 minutes.
