The Elysium Memorial
September 2026
Our proprietor James Green is proud to have served in the British Armed Forces and has remained actively involved in charitable causes for the army and its members. In early September James attended the unveiling of The Elysium Memorial in Alrewas, Staffordshire. It serves as a place of remembrance for veterans and armed forces personnel who have died by suicide. James has been actively involved in this project since its inception and is pleased to see it come to fruition. We will remember them.

Richmond Tea Rooms, Cheshire House Bar and Grill and Carden Park talk about their use of speciality teas supplied by Tea From The Manor.
"He James Green] invites me to his office...Inside is a tea lover’s paradise. His desk is made of tea chests and two walls are packed floor-to-ceiling with his blends, which include everything from traditional oolong ... to a gin and tonic concoction he had made recently for some Cheshire hipsters." The Guardian
In my time at Tea in the Manor, I have experienced the full potential of gourmet experiences that Cheshire has on offer. This beautiful county holds many hidden gems that I have discovered over the years, here are a few of my favourites... - Gourmet Garden Trail
'Throughout the year we will create things like a chocolate tea for Easter, a Valentine’s Day tea, strawberry tea for summer and a Christmas tea which my daughter said was ‘Christmas in a cup’. - Cheshire Life
'The Tea from the Manor tea concept is a perfect fit for both retail sales of bagged teas and enhancing the restaurant, tearoom and bar experience....People love the theatre of tea, the ritual, the brewing time and the beautiful things that complete the tea drinking experience. Fine china, delicate sandwiches, pastries, cakes and the feeling that time can stand still for a brief moment is really catching the imagination of consumers.' Cheshire Life Taste Awards
'Dapper. Not a word I often use but, English being an exact language, it’s the only word to describe the proprietor of Tea from The Manor. In his white shirt with gold armbands, bow tie and white curly hair, James Green is the spit of actor Barry Foster of Van der Valk fame, and he is charm itself.' - Northern Soul
