Usually enjoyed in the afternoons and served without milk, this quintessentially British tea is named after 1830s English Prime Minister, Charles Grey and was exclusively drank by the upper classes. These days Earl Grey remains an afternoon favourite on all manors around the UK, no matter how large or small.  Earl Grey tea has become a traditional staple of British tea drinking.
