A naturally earthy, caffeine free full bodied tea that comes from the bright green needled shrubs in South Africa, where this tea is much loved and drank in nearly every home. 

Rooibos is usually grown in a small area in the region of the Western Cape province of South Africa. Generally, the leaves are oxidised. This process produces the distinctive reddish-brown colour of rooibos and enhances the flavour.

Rooibos is thought to have antioxidant properties and is rich with a sweet orange and light clove character.

Did you know that Rooibos translates into Red Bush tea? 

These leaves are very fine so please do use a small strainer to catch the tea leaves. Our Rooibos is also available in tea bags here. 

We would recommend just off the boil water and steep the tea for 4-5 minutes.
