New Year, New Tea
With each New Year comes a desire to try something new. This month Tea From The Manor is giving you the option to try something new this year with 20% off their Wellness Tea package. Take a read of our latest blog for some New Year inspiration.
Here we are two weeks into the new year and the bank account that was slowly recovering from all the expenditure of Christmas has taken yet another battering from the new monthly gym subscriptions, the running shoes that you are still slightly afraid to remove from their box and the cupboards that are now filled with all the healthy yet uninviting food under the sun. At Tea From The Manor we enjoy a more simple approach to kickstarting the year in a healthy way, making small steps towards a healthier lifestyle rather than the big leaps which can feel somewhat unachievable. Start by making slight adjustments to your daily routine, rather than a mug of tea with whole milk, try it with semi-skimmed milk instead, or better yet leave out the milk altogether with one of our Wellness teas. You can still get that warm hug in a mug and it comes guilt free too!
All throughout this month we have a special offer on our Wellness teas. 20% off the regular price will see you acquire our Wellness, Motivation, Heavenly Life and Bird of Paradise teas. Each have their own unique flavour and will help you to start the year right.
Our Wellness tea is a delightful blend of Pu Erh green tea that is blended with exotic fruits and a twist of lemon. Pu Erh tea can be traced back to the Yunnan province in China, it is a dark tea although it is initially processed as a green tea. The fermentation process involved in creating Pu Erh means that there is naturally a low caffeine content in this type of tea which makes it a great hot drink for any time of the day.
As with any new year’s resolution it is all about motivation. Something which our tea of the same name provides in spades. This tea is a splendid blend of rosehips, hibiscus, peppermint, blackcurrant and vibrant strawberry leaves. Not only do rosehips add colour and flavour but they are also antioxidants. Hibiscus is hugely beneficial to help you on your new year’s health kick as scientific studies have shown that they help to prevent the development of cells that create fat. To balance all the fruity flavours in this tea, the peppermint provides a refreshing and minty taste, a great way to start the day, and year for that matter.
A delightful green tea, our Heavenly Life tea is infused with apricot, ginko leaves and scented marigold petals. Green tea has the highest caffeine content within it, more so than any other teas. Caffeine, or theine as it is sometimes referred to in tea, acts as a stimulant that can have a positive impact on people. It can make them more alert and reduce fatigue. However, it can make people irritable and an over dependence on caffeine can lead to low energy levels once the initial rush has passed. Not only a heavenly sight to behold, the Heavenly Life tea will give you that extra get up and go on those cold, dark January mornings.
Last but by no means least, making up our Wellness tea package is our Birds of Paradise tea, which is a black tea that is flavoured with apple, papaya pieces, marigold blooms, cornflower and rose petals. The name of this tea is inspired by birds of paradise that dwell within tropical climates, many of these birds have dark feathers with flecks of bright colours much like this delicious tea. A healthy amount of caffeine from the black tea mixed with the exotic flavours of the papaya makes for a lovely way to start the day.
From something as simple as having a different type of tea it can become clear that a lifestyle change is easier to achieve than initially thought. Also, what’s the rush? Each year is filled with 365 days, which by rights is plenty of time to enact any changes within your life. So relax, take a deep breathe and pour yourself a nice cup of tea. From all of us at Tea From The Manor, we wish you a very Happy New Year.
