VE Day 75th Anniversary Tribute
VE Day was 75 years ago. Last Friday we paid our respects to those that made the ultimate sacrifice for us all. Today we live with the effects of the Coronavirus and again so many people are stepping forward to serve on the front line, always putting others before themselves. Again, we have to thank them because we owe them so much.
Afternoon Tea
Tea has grown again in popularity over the last few years with some saying it is out doing coffee. Coffee has held the top drink space for many years; with the likes of Starbucks, Costa Coffee and Café Nero dominating the high street. Now with the resurgence of afternoon tea and the amount of different teas so readily available, is tea taking back its former place as the nation’s favourite drink?
Here at Tea From The Manor, tea has always been our favourite drink but we do agree it has really expanded over the past few years, especially with the come back of the 'afternoon tea' and we love supplying many different types of teas to our customers. Here are just some ways you can enjoy a good cuppa!
If you have something special to celebrate why not splash out on an indulgent champagne afternoon tea at the decadent Grosvenor Chester.
For something unique try The Richmond Tea Rooms in Manchester. With an Alice in Wonderland Theme you’ll think you’ve fallen down the rabbit hole!
For casual dining look no further than The Courthouse in Cheshire, a real former courthouse refurbished to a beautiful standard.
For something ‘fresh, local and simple’ try The Lambing Shed, a family run business with a lovely atmosphere combining a café, shop, butchers and deli.
And lastly to keep the luxury and quality of all these places but stay relaxed in your own home, take a look at our vast selection of teas on our website. Order in your tea and buy yourself a couple of scones or cakes from your local artisan market to get that fresh baked taste and enjoy!
